junteenth CELEBRATION!

Everyone is invited to join the Morgan County Branch NAACP, the Morgan County African American Museum, and the City of Madison for a free family-oriented Juneteenth celebration in Town Park on Saturday, June 17, 2023, from noon until 5:00 pm.

To kick off the festivities, a parade will wind its way from Morgan County High School beginning at 12:15 p.m. The parade will conclude at Town Park where there will be a variety of activities for everyone to enjoy including face painting, a bouncy house for the kids, musical performances, and Juneteenth storytelling. There will also be a host of vendors providing delicious food along with arts and crafts.

Come and help us celebrate, educate, and appreciate African American history and culture on this National holiday.
