Virtual Meeting Option

Beginning July 1, 2021, the City of Madison will return to in-person meetings. Limited, socially distanced seating will be available for in-person attendance by the public. In accordance with the CDC, individuals who are not fully vaccinated should help protect others by wearing a mask. 

Virtual attendance using the GoToMeeting platform will remain an option for the following boards: Corridor Design Commission, Mayor & Council, Historic Preservation Commission, and Planning & Zoning Commission. The Cemetery Stewardship Commission, Downtown Development Authority, Greenspace Conservation Commission, Housing Opportunity Commission, and Public Arts Commission will no longer have a virtual attendance option. 

Below you will find listed meetings currently scheduled to have a virtual option with the meeting link, phone number, and access code plus additional information about the meeting.

MAYOR & COUNCIL Called MEETING, August 2, 2021, 8:30 aM 

This is a public meeting. The public is invited to attend, listen, and comment during public hearings/public comment. The screen sharing will be the same images which are shown on the screens in meeting in Meeting Hall. Citizens "attending" this meeting virtually will be able to hear the discussion between Mayor & Council but will not be able to speak until the Mayor calls for public comment.
