ROW Trees

Each year, the City of Madison plants approximately 40 trees along the rights-of-way (ROW). The Madison Greenspace Commission (GSC) works to carefully select trees that will thrive as street trees, while offering shade and beautification to our community.

Each January, white flags with GSC stickers appear on public rights-of-way. Planting typically occurs prior to Georgia Arbor Day.

If you have a question about one of these planting sites or would like to request a ROW tree, please contact us. Citizen requests for ROW trees are considered by the GSC each October.
