Council Member Hunt recently stepped into the public service arena, once frequented by his father and then his wife Lyn. The Hunt family has been here for many generations and served the community while growing Godfrey's Warehouse, a locally-owned and family-operated downtown enterprise since the 1870s. Whitey believes that the city is extraordinarily blessed to have active citizens and dedicated volunteers, working diligently to maintain what the community has and insuring all that is new will be the best it can be. Hunt hopes that the community will engage in more conservation of openspace and greenspace, incorporating parks and preserving scenic beauty for every neighborhood. |
