Chili Cook-Off & Fall Festival

Chili Cook-Off Materials


11:00 am to 4:00 pm
We’re in the process of planning this year’s Chili Cook-off & Fall Festival, below we’ve listed some of the highlights you can expect. Be sure to check back to watch for updates.

Things To Dos 

  • Compete in a cook-off – Open (Red Chili Only) and CASI Competition Categories
  • Sample lots of great chili from 12:30-3:00 (or until the chili runs out!) – Wristbands are on sale starting at 11:00 and are $3 per piece 
  • Relax in the Beer (and wine) Garden, opens at 11:00 am 
  • Congratulate the winners – Announcements at 3:30 pm
  • Buy a beautiful fall pumpkin or gourd; learn to carve a pumpkin from a pro
  • Compete in the Krystal's Chili Pup Eating Contest 
  • Shop for locally grown produce and handcrafted art
  • Be entertained:
    •  The Darnell Boys take the stage at 2:00 pm
    •  E.J. Boyer and his 'Tribute To Elvis' take the stage at 1:00
  • Lots of fun stuff for kids

Feeling competitive? Prizes include cash, special goods, and Downtown Dollars for the following: 
  • Chili Pup Eating Contest – First Place 
  • Chili 'Open' Competition – Judges First, Second and Third 
  • Chili 'CASI' Competition - CASI Points 
  • Chili Showmanship Award – Best decorated booth
