Community Shred
Main Street, Shred It!, Morgan County celebrates Earth Day with a community-wide document shred at Town Park. We're encouraging a once-a-year clean up for residents of Madison and Morgan County. Along with paper documents Morgan County invites residents to bring along, special, hard to recycle items to this special event.

Chamber Music Festival
This world-class roster of classical musicians is presented by our Main Street Partner, the Madison Morgan Cultural Center and Artistic Director Christopher Rex, Principal Cellist with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. The festival is presented in annually, find schedules and ticket sales online.

Memorial Day Celebration
Join Main Street, the American Legion, and, about 1,000 motorcylists participating in the Annual Ride for America, in Town Park for a patriotic Memorial Day Ceremony honoring the men and women who have died while in military service to our nation.

Country Road Cruisers Fall Car Show
Classic, muscle, hot-rod, and special interest automobiles roll into town for our annual fall car show. Fun and free for the general public, the whole family will enjoy a DJ playing oldies and over 100 registered cars entered to be professionally judged.

NAACP Black History Parade & Festival
A day-long celebration of local black heritage. The day starts with a parade of bands, floats, and groups marching through downtown, and continues with speakers, food, crafters, and entertainment. Third weekend in April. 

Madison In May:  5K, 10K & Fun Run
Annual 5K, 10K, and 1-mile Family Fun Run through Madison’s lovely Historic District. Second weekend in May. Registration required.

Firefighters' Fall 5K & 10K
An annual race through one of Georgia's premier historic districts, benefitting Madison's Volunteer Fire Department. The course is an out and back - very fast, and run entirely on paved streets. Second weekend in October. Registration required.

Christmas Rush Classic
A favorite 5K, 8K, and 1-mile fun-run race, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Morgan County. Run through Madison’s Historic District and enjoy the traditional soup and cider fare at the finish line. Registration required.
