Community Shred
Main Street, Cintas Document Management, and Morgan County celebrate Earth Day with a community-wide document shred in Town Park. We're encouraging a once-a-year clean up for residents of Madison and Morgan County. Along with paper documents Morgan County invites residents to bring along, special, hard to recycle items to this special event.

Chamber Music Festival
This world-class roster of classical musicians is presented by our Main Street Partner, the Madison Morgan Cultural Center and Artistic Director Christopher Rex, Principal Cellist with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. BRAG:  Spring Tune-Up 
The Bike Ride Across Georgia (BRAG) ‘warms up’ with a three-day scenic ride through historic Madison and Morgan County. Ride to clear the cobwebs off your bicycle and shake the winter right out of your legs. Come see what makes the BRAG so special. It’s much more than just another bike ride. Ride for a day or for the entire 3-day weekend. In April. Registration required.

NAACP Black History Parade & Festival
A day-long celebration of local black heritage. The day starts with a parade of bands, floats, and groups marching through downtown, and continues with speakers, food, crafters, and entertainment. Third weekend in April.

Madison In May:  5K, 10K & Fun Run
Annual 5K, 10K, and 1-mile Family Fun Run through Madison’s lovely Historic District. Second weekend in May. Registration required.

Firefighters' Fall 5K & 10K
An annual race through one of Georgia's premier historic districts, benefitting Madison's Volunteer Fire Department. The course is an out and back - very fast, and run entirely on paved streets. Second weekend in October. Registration required.

Christmas Rush Classic
