There is no permit fee for a temporary sign, but a $100 deposit is required.
Each property may be issued 4 temporary sign permits per year.

Each permit is good for 2 weeks.

Temporary sign permits are issued under the following conditions:
  • 1 temporary permit at a time
  • 4 permits per year
  • permits are good for 2 weeks
  • banners: 32 sq. ft. maximum
  • all corners secured
  • 6' clearance if above a walk
  • may not be on public right-of-way

The sign ordinance is currently being updated and we are transitioning from a deposit system to a fee system for Temporary Sign Permits. In the interim, we are not requiring either a deposit or fee.

Please note: If everything is in order in your application, a banner permit will be issued to you via email with 2 business days.
