Central of Georgia Depot

Riding the Preservation Train

Within the railway right-of-way through Downtown Madison is the Central of Georgia Depot, currently occupied by Norfolk-Southern's shortline tenant Cater-Parrott Railnet. Long-term plans include full rehabilitation, perhaps as a trailhead and meeting facility abutting a new public boardwalk.
