Families, musicians, and fireflies will head to Town Park on the last weekend in July for the Firefly Festival celebrating the end of summer. Once again this year (eight years running!) we'd like to thank our presenting sponsor, Main Street Vet of Madison.
Friday Frolic Is For Kids!
Join us on Friday night for the Family Frolic - it's "kids' night" at Firefly. Bring the kids for a night of fun with stilt walkers, music, bubbles, face painters, fun inflatables, creative kids crafts, and family entertainment–all in the park from 6:30-8:30 pm. Sorry, no coolers allowed on Friday night. Feed the kids before you come and we'll provide an icy treat. This is a ticketed event, kids pay $5 each, parents are free. Your ticket includes all activities within the park! Main Street Vet and HSMC will be on hand with animals, so leashed pets are allowed on Friday–please be sure to clean up after your dog. The Firefly Frolic is a 12 and under event.
Saturday 'Date Night' Concert
On Saturday evening, join us as we host a 'date night,' in Town Park. This year Sounds of Motown is back!! The concert is from 7:00–10:30 p.m.(11/2 hours longer this year!!), with gates opening at 6:00. This is a ticketed event, tickets are $10 on Saturday, kids 12 and under come in for free. Come early to claim your favorite spot on the Great Lawn. Blankets, chairs, and coolers are all welcome on Saturday night–there are no food vendors on site. A limited number of tents will be allowed on Saturday, please call Main Street to reserve your spot. Lawn tent spaces are free of charge and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you don't feel like sitting on the lawn this time around, reserve a Gazebo terrace table and treat your guests to take-out from our nearby downtown eateries. A Gazebo table is $85 and includes four concert tickets. Each table comes with four chairs, with room for two 'bring your own' chairs, a lighted umbrella and a cooler of ice to keep your beverages chilly. Tables can be reserved through Madison Main Street at (706) 342-1251 x208 or email.
No pets in the park on Saturday (unless service animals).
Please Note: In Town Park, please remember to pour any adult beverages into cups, and be sure to use our recycling receptacles for plastic and aluminum.
